About: Me
I was born in south Minneapolis, son of Thomas and Lila Neumann. My dad was a floor installer so growing up around floor installation I have learned a thing or two about floors. I really enjoyed being my dad's helper during days off of school and weekends.
I graduated from White Bear Senior High. After graduation, I went directly into management. I saw an advertisement for a Tile Setter. I started out at the bottom. First I was a helper and worked my way up to working with the best tile setters in the industry. I learned a lot about the fundamentals of tile setting which a lot of younger guys seem to ignore.
Over the years I have worked for some of the best tile companies working on everything from small jobs to commercial projects. I have installed and tiled almost everything out there.

Neumann's Tile is a small company designed mainly for residential and small businesses. I have 18 years of tile installation experience and i'm very particular to detail. I am always considerate of the customer's needs.
As a tile setter for larger tile companies, I always felt that I was not fast enough. All they seem to care about was how much money they could make from a job and how fast we could make a job look good enough to 'pass'. I also acted as their repair man covering up a lot of thier mistakes. Neumann's Tile is NOT that type of company. I've learned a lot about what not to do and have passed these learnings onto my customers.
Neumann's Tile is a small company with very low overhead. This gives us the flexibility to do whatever it takes to get the job done right the first time and in a timely manner. We believe that you should always get what you are paying for; A tile job that you want and that will last.
